My Valentine's Day gift!
I am so much in shock, I can't even blog about knitting (tune in tomorrow for the drama of the Olympics). The Ipod was a total and complete suprise. I've been listening to knitting podcasts for several weeks (months?) by saving them to our laptop and playing them back while Hub played video games or watched wrestling (don't judge) but since our laptop has been sick (did I mention Best Buy said it would be $800 to fix? Yeah, right) I've been podcast-less and very sad. Well, he read they were going on sale (bringing it to the masses) so he took the opportunity to give the BEST Valentine I've ever recieved! Wooo!
I can't remember if I've mentioned the podcasts that I like before, but Knitcast has great interviews, while I find Cast On to be the best to knit to (nice and long with interesting music). They're both featured in the Winter Vogue, which means you've probably already heard of them. There are some others, but these two are by far the best: clear, informative and interesting.
*in the spirit of love and giving, a special V-day treat to whomever can name this movie
