Just call me Michelle

"I respect the Olympics too much to compete and I don't feel I can be at my best."
I only blame myself, for not training hard enough or planning early enough...I didn't take the time to make sure I had enough yarn before jumping in, and, like Michelle, I came to Torino when I should have stayed home.
Although dissapointed that my, well, lazy attempt to acheive knitting gold was so quickly brought to a halt, I'm still feeling upbeat. Since winter will soon be over, I've decided to keep working on the cardigan so that I'll be able to finish it as soon as the extra yarn gets here. It is still on schedule: I have 11 inches of the body and 12 inches of one sleeve. If I had the yarn, I would definately finish on time. But as it is, I'll knit all the yarn I have, and if the extra hasn't arrived, I'll move onto finishing my Backyard Leaves scarf. When the yarn arrives, I'll return to the cardigan and finish it in record time, despite this disqualification.
Thank you for your support in this time knithlete dissapointment. I will still be cheering for the other Olympians and enjoying the lovely Italian weather.

Isn't this a timely read for me. Haha. I have one whole sock to knit. I think that I might be out of the competition too. I think there is like, one day left?

Man.
