It seems I only post on Mondays...
Here's a buttonhole bag that I knit for a swap on Craftster
the bag and its accoutrements, a sunglass holder and change purse
The swap idea is quite cool, actually. Everyone gave 3 wishes they'd like fulfilled, then were matched up with someone who could fulfill their wish. I was paired with someone who wanted a knitted bag-how easy! I added the change purse and sunglass sleeve because I was bored last night and had plenty of yarn left over.
Oh, the yarn I used was more of what I recycled from that same sweater that made my other buttonhold bag. Do you see the cute star button? I found it at Jo-anne's the other day and had no idea of what I'd use it for--but it ended up being perfect for this!
I haven't been knitting much this week because I've been totally enthralled in The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I know I'm pitiful, but I wanted to finish it before the discussion started on Knit1, Read Too on the 30th and I had no money to buy it...so I've been reading it at the bookstore! Now that I've finished it, I still want to own it so I can refer to certian scenes while discussing it. I have so much to say about why that book was so good and involving, but I have to think it over so it comes out clearly and not just a jumble of book lovin' (and it's hard to think with my husband watching wrestling rather loudly).

UH OH!! I feel like a little kid that got caught peeking at their X-mas presents!! This is Krafty-Kritter and I wanted to show a friend what a buttonhole bag looked like and.. oopsy!
I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to peek :o( *gets embarassed*
But anyways.. WOW.. just.. WOW. I literally squealed with delight when I saw the picture of my stuff!! And you made me 2 extra things *giggles* .. That was so sweet of you! Oh my gosh, I can't wait to get my stuff. You did an excellent job in creating just what I had envisioned. The pin on the bag is an awesome touch.. so pretty! You're great! Thank you!
