Yesterday was the first day of my Autumn:
We slept with the windows open, awoke with a chilled nose and the quilts piled high.
Read Kerouac's Dharma Bums, ate eggs and homemade toast, felt like being out-of-doors.
Piled Hub and Pup in car and drove all over green mountains.
Stopped in the Cherokee National Forest and ran around, drank water from the stream, layed in the sun.
I'm starting my to-do-in Autumn list (and marked nearly everything off my To-Do-in summer list!)
Make apple pies
Make homemade bread every week
Eat more butternut squash, sweet potatos, everything seasonal at Farmer's Market
Replant herb garden and bring inside before it frosts.
Plant tulip bulbs.
Buy a new camera (mine broke last weekend, thus the lack of posting and the end of my picture-a-day plan)
Knit a sweater in season! (I'm just finishing up a top that would be great if it was still 90+)
Finish embroidering and sewing my kitchen curtains.
I have more things to add, constantly inspired by all others who are making lists.
And this, 101 things in 1001 days, has to be the list to end all lists.
