Xtreme knitting

Excuse the Amazing Lace silliness.
Although her focus has been challenged by both the lace shawl and design projects that have deadlines looming, Tara is still commited to Verdant Cables.
She proved this commitment by spending a adventurous day at the beach with Verdant, just the two of them, no other knitting. This single-minded commitment (if only for a day) wasn't appreciated by Verdant Cables, who insists Tara is simply using her for the race. She claims that she has been chosen because she can easily be washed, is easy to carry since she's knit in the round, and is nice company with only every other row patterned.
Tara insists their relationship is real and instead of snorkeling with the family
she stuck by Verdant.Verdant claims Tara cares nothing for her safety...if she did, why, oh why, would she insist on snorkeling with the knitting?!?

Look at that wave! Is this what I think it is? Knitting in the ocean?

Yes, that's right, Tara and Verdant have pulled themselves from useless bickering and are now vying for that Xtreme Knitting award by actually wading into the water...Tara's knitting with a snorkeling mask on!
(if nothing else, I should win a bravery award for posting pictures of myself in a swimming suit)

I'd vote for you! How brave - allowing the knitting (lace no less!) near the ocean.

OMG, I totally thought that was a real underwater shot. Winner in my book, at least for making (gullible) me gasp.

Very brave of you! It makes me cringe to see that lovely lace so close to the water! I won't even leave mine next to a glass of water. Great post!
