Smitten

Not a lot of knitting content because I've fallen in love with my spinning wheel.
I spun up half the alpaca I got at last year's Wool Gathering.
It wasn't balanced (like the first yarn I spun) but after hanging it to dry weighted, it is now! Oh, and I dyed it before spinning it...I'm pretty happy with the soft blues and greens.
And then...I discovered (via Craftster) a company that sells Brown Sheep's mill end rovings. For cheap! I ordered sometime last week (can't quite remember, I was drunk on fiber) and it arrived Friday....2 lbs of a mohair blend (15%mohair/ 85% wool). And boy, that is a LOT of fiber!
Here I am, pulling it out of the box:
I dyed some of it (what would fit in my dye pot) a soft purple and spun my first plied yarn.

Guess what? I love it too!

It's also balanced, although, as my husband pointed out, pretty rope like...and maybe 10ish yards...
The question now...what do I do with this yarn? Not good enough for a shawl (although that will come, I'm sure)...maybe some squares for a throw?

Beautiful yarn! I have no ideas for you but just wanted to compliment your first plied yarn.
