Whelp, it's a fact, my laptop and I are parting because of irreconcilable differences (I want it to turn on, it wants a new motherboard), so we're shopping for a new computer. The good news is that in all my computer-free time, I've had plenty of time to knit and dye. I've been experimenting with colorways and so now I have a large collection of 'practice yarn'. Some if it is exactly what I was going for, some of it...not so much. I decided to offer it for sale here, so if you're interested email me at blondechickenyarnATyahooDOTcom. I'll reply with a Paypal invoice and I'll mail it the next day!
Oh yeah, my photographer friend, who will be photographing my yarn for the website needed some yarn shooting experience, so these shots are his practice too. Let us know what you think of the shots.

Dr. Seuss

Reminds me of Dr. Suess and his crazy colors: light to bright pink with a smidge of bright green

Potluck
This yarn started out as pink with a shot of green and yellow....and then, it happened into the blue pot. The pink became mauve-y and the green and yellow became a bit blue-er. I can post a swatch if that'll help, because it's hard to photograph all the colors at once. If you like variagated yarns that softly shift through shades of colors-this is the yarn for you!

lovely yarn! you've been busy.
those are great shots, I think my fave is the punky brewster one because of the size and scope. I feel like I can see all of the yarn in that one.
The first one for the dr seuss is my least favorite because it's too far away.
