I've used all the yarn I have for my Olympic Knit and just received an email that the rest has been sent. Will it arrive in time? I estimate I have about 3ish hours of knitting left...if the yarn comes Friday, before I leave for work (I'm working 5-11 at the shop for Mardi Gras) I might be able to finish it before I leave for Columbus Saturday morning. If not, I won't finish it in time (I won't be back in town until Sunday night). So how about a big Olympic wish that it gets here on time? All together now! ****
Still using the library computers (at my new favorite library (is it weird I have a favorite library?)) so no pictures...BUT I cast on for the second half of Backyard Leaves (you remember what it looks like) and am 2 1/2 repeats in. Because I had nothing simple to work on at knit night, I cast on (and finished) a pair of fingerless gloves out of this yarn. I also might have accidentally bought some yarn (perhaps some Silk Garden for an entrelac wrap?) while shopping for buttons.
I'm not to be held accountable for yarn purchased to calm my olympic nerves.
The tension mounts...

fingers crossed! hope you get to taste olympic glory!
Aw Tara, I hope you pulled through. This Olympic knitting tension is just starting to leave me; I don't know how actual athletes can stand it.
In other knitting news, I'm finally finished cooking up the Perfect Sweater pattern, and I wonder if you still have any interest in cooking up the crewneck version! I couldn't find your email address! Please email me at annATmasondixonknitting.com. All best, Ann
