In the madness of cardigan finishing...I still worked on the Jaywalkers while in the car (riding, not driving, dear) and at the Therapy Session.
Here they are, hanging out with me at work.

(Oh yeah, I don't just take silly pictures at work *see last post* I also knit my little heart out. Under the table, so passersby don't see (or is it passerbys?))
They're chillin in a bowl at the center of my Valentine's Day display...see, I don't just knit and pose and work...I make window displays...hard work!
And for those who share my passion for my handpainted yarn (you are out there, right?) :

Ok, enough with the socks. Onto the serious stuff: Tomorrow. The Olympics.
I haven't said much about it, because I wasn't sure what I would knit. I've been vacillating between an entrelac wrap out of Silk Garden and Karaoke or a cardigan out of the Malabrigo yarn I bought forever ago. The Silk Garden hasn't come in, so cardigan it is.
This cardigan to be exact

Except yesturday, I learned I don't have 850 yds of yarn...I have 650 yds. How did I mix this up? So, I have 3 balls (aprox 330 yds) of a bluish Karoake (called, appropriately enough, The Bluezzz) that has a lot of the same shades as the blue Malabrigo. So last night I swatched a couple of different ways of combining them...and I think I've come up with a stitch pattern/color combo that I like...one that doesn't look too "I don't have enough of the MC"
I'm winding the yarn tonight and will be casting on when I get off work tomorrow. woo!
PS. my blog (and yours, most likely) looks super crappy on the library computers :(
