1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand?
Uh, yes. I love all kinds of natural fibers (wool, silk, soy silk, etc)...although it doesn't have to be expenisve-I shop most regularly at Knitpicks or Handpaintedyarn.com.
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
I'm learning to spin on a drop spindle and want to learn how to spin on a wheel.
3. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
I desparately need a needle case or some nice vases!
4. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I've been knitting for over a year...so intermediate maybe? I've done cables, lace (although not a full shawl) and design (or drastically alter) most of what I knit.
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Amazon and Knitpicks
6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
Coconut Lime Verbena and White Tea Ginger from Bath& Body Works, other than that vanilla and lilac
7. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
Not a sweet tooth-a chocolate tooth! I love dark chocolate and coffee!
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
I dye yarn and needle felt (a tiny bit) and do some papercrafts (but not as much as I dye and knit)
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
I like Indie Rock and jazzy stuff (ex. Madeleine Peroux, Death Cab, The Decemberists, M. Ward, etc)
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?
You can't go wrong with blues, greens, or neutrals! The palette I use most is oceanic (water, sky, foam, sand) although I like most pinks and reds. I'm super picky about purples, oranges and yellows, but I like at least one shade of every color.

11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I have 2 kittens and a husband. I live close to my mom and 2 little brothers (5&6) so I see a lot of them.
12. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
Not ponchos..I need my arms to be free at work....but YES to scarves, hats and mittens, I actually only have one of each and need more!
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?
Hmm...I love the versatility of Lamb's Pride (it also takes dye really well) and the color changes in Noro (Kochoran is probably my favorite) but for large projects, I go for something soft and affordable like KnitPicks Andean Silk or Sierra.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I don't like scratchy wool or acrylic, nylon, rayon, etc.
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?
Designing and Fair Isle
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
I like the feeling of accomplishment from knitting a sweater, but socks are so portable!
17. What are you knitting right now?
Backyard Leaves scarf, a self-designed cardigan, and birthday gifts for my friends
18. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
Yes, I love handmade cards!
19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?
Circular, unless I'm knitting a scarf
20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
Bamboo!
21. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?
I have a ball winder and use my husband as a swift
22. How did you learn to knit?
I taught myself from several books
23. How old is your oldest UFO?
Probably six months...a lace shawl I was designing last summer (I'll work on it some more when sweater weather passes)
24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?
Uh, I like SpongeBob, but NOT in the way where I collect stuff...I love kittens and bluebirds
25. What is your favorite holiday?
Easter
26. Is there anything that you collect?
Hmmm...Yes, several random things! I collect stationary, Fiesta Ware (red and blue), teapots, vintage tablecloths and, of course, beautiful yarns!
27. What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?
None! I would looove Interweave Knits *hint, hint*
28. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on?
Ha! That list would be too long! So I'll narrow it down. Book: Dyeing to Knit. Needles: Lantern Moon Ebony US10, Pattern: a lace shawl from Fiddlesticks Yarn; Yarn: Socks that Rock, Brooks Farm Four Play
29. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?
I'd like to learn how to design (and chart) Fair Isle and lace
30. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?
Kinda...I wear a size 10 (women's USA) (if you need all the measurements, I can pass those out later)
