Olympic knitting...It's all the rage in blogland and I've been thinking about whether I care to join in or not. I'm NOT a sports fan...I probably wouldn't have even noticed they were this year had knitter's not blogged about it. This wasn't always the case...in 4th grade, it must have been the...'92 olympics? I worked for Team Kenya in the Phillipsburg Elementary School Olympics...on the reading/spelling team. Oh yeah, baby, I'm athletic.
So if I did buy into this whole Olympic thing, it would be for the challenge and the sense of community. I haven't decided if I'm a process or product knitter, but I'm starting to realize that I choose almost all my knitting projects based on if it'll teach me something new.
I've been thinking a lot about what might be a challenge worthy of the Olympic title.
what would be challenging for 16 days?
