Today's is my (former) roomate's birthday and last night we celebrated with chicken enchiladas, pinapple juice and coconut rum (what do you call that cocktail?) and armwarmers!
You can see she's happy with them!
I used Ann Budd's Fingerless Mitts pattern from Weekend Knitting and Knitpicks Color Your Own sock yarn dyed (by me!) with Orange and Strawberry Kool-Aid.

BTW, my boyfriend is from Dayton and we visit several times a year. Where are the good LYS? I'm trying to convince his sister who crochets and is learning to knit that there is yarn other than Red Heart.
