A ruffly scarf to match the hat I'm donating. I started and finished the whole thing last night...it's only 10 rows (knit end to end) 4 even and the I kfb every stitch, every other row and bound off.
That's Pride and Prejudice in the background...I'm spending most of my day lusting after Mr. Darcey.
Mr. Darcey sure made knitting this little sock go faster!
The pattern is from Last Minute Knitted Gifts and was 'spose to only take 2 hours-ha! That's if you don't leave the couch and have mastered dpns (and if your kitten doesn't take a liking to them!)
Anyhow, the socks are double duty:
- a guage swatch for the socks I'm making my mom.
- an ornament/gift tag for my Mom's gift!

It's really cute that you're using a small sock for an ornament gift tag! I'll need to steal that idea for next year. . . this year is pretty set.
