to knit for others during the Thanksgiving season!
Finding this was really timely as Sam and I have been talking about knitting for charity all this week. I spent quite a while Saturday looking up information on local charities or homeless shelters; trying to see what they needed for donations. I've also tried to get in touch with the LYSes in the area to see if they're hosting any charity knitting thingies. I've yet to find out about any, so I'm going to organize one myself.
If you know of a Charity Knit-In already planned for the Dayton/Cincy area let me know. If you'd be interested in coming to one, email me or leave a comment. I'm thinking the Saturday after Thanksgiving...with donations going to either the Artemis house (a battered women's shelter) or St. Vincent's.
