I finished my socks! Yay! I love them so much and they fit beautifully! It looks like I have enough yarn left to make another pair, or maybe some fingerless gloves.
Last night Jay got free tickets to the see the Reds, so we went and they won (shocking!).
While Jay was jumping around cheering, I cast on for my Mom's sweater...It doesn't look like much here, but it's at least 4in.
I leave you with this picture from the Reds stadium (this isn't Cincy though, it's actually Kentucky).

So you were knitting at the Reds game yesterday? I was there, not knitting, because I knitted there on Friday night. The kittens are old enough to leave their mom. I believe they have seen a vet, but I'll double check with their foster parents. The foster parents are really good about caring for the cats they take in.
The socks look great and how appropriate that you were knitting in red. Ill take some pics in Japan for you and send you good vibes! ; )
Okay, more about the cats. They will be seeing the vet this Friday to be spayed and neutered and to have their shots. They have been wormed and treated for fleas. They are litter trained. The foster parents want to pass along their phone number to you so you can call them to ask them questions about the cat. Please e-mail me at mindy dot wilkes at fuse dot net and I'll give you their number.
Happy knitting!
