Long time, lots of crochet

Crochet is taking over my home. In the month since I last blogged, I've been drawn to crochet the same way I first was to knitting; I find myself searching for patterns, trying new stitch patterns, scouring forums for more information! Crochet is definately harder to find good info on than knitting was, but all the same I've managed to work on the following:
Ripple blanket:
Ripple Day 73

Sweet Pea Shawl, init in 12 days for a Mother's Day gift:Sweet Pea Shawl stitch definition

US9 hook, handpainted cotton/wool yarn bought at Woolgathering 2 years ago.
Pattern: Sweet Pea Shawl from SNB: The Happy Hooker

Beach bag for Grams (another last minute Mother's day gift):DSCN4009

Mystery cotton-ish yarn, 2 balls
My own pattern, will write up soon, because I LOVE it and need to make thousands more, for myself!

Granny Squares (currently functioning as coasters):
handspun Babette square
From my handspun yarn, using the Babette square pattern from IK crochet.
And lots of little flower pins (like the one in the first picture) with vintage buttons in the center, been selling at local farmers market. And little bits of jewelry (nothing at hand to photograph).
My knitting has been in fits and starts, lots of new pattern ideas, but the yarns I have aren't matching up to the designs in my head...and I can't afford to buy new yarn...so I'm just working with what I have, clearing out some old projects, letting these new ideas percolate.
Tomorrow: a knits-in-progress round-up.

Some day I'll get to the hook. Nice ripple blanket.
