Snippets on a sweater

I haven't had time for a proper photoshoot or to collect the details yet...but I couldnt resist capturing a few shots of the sweater at work.
Now, to fully appreciate my deviance, you have to keep in mind that these were snapped in a room full of people...there are 3 other desks in my office:Over my shoulder, if I'm sitting at the PC (that's the back of a computer you're looking at) is an older, grumpy woman...I snapped this while she was at the copier). You can also see the collar detail, where the big braided cable goes into a cable and rib.
If I turn the laptop at a 45 degree angle you can see the other two deskes: for our grad assistant and the database specialist, she might get a kick out of my snapping pictures, but well, everyone here thinks I'm weird enough as is...so I keep it my self!

Directly over the top of Macbook: my bosses door! (she was gone for the day when I took this...but was standing right on the other side of my desk when I snapped this:

A great shot of the cuff, which I am unreasonably proud of! I knitted it on after I finished the sweater and it came out exactly as I wanted. This sweater is, officially, my most favorite thing I've ever knitted. It is imminently wearable; with a polo and jeans (like today) or with a button down, slacks and heels (on Tuesday). There are so many details that I love about it: the way the braid flows out of the cable rib, the cute little cable in the raglan decreases, the way the yarn blocked and the way the collar is slightly wide , allowing for wearing collared shirts with it, unobstructed. Now, the real question...what to call it? It's my own design, totally off the top of my head as I knit...

Call it, "I love this sweater!" Or something equally clever. I love the seam details on the shoulder. Wow!

That is WONDERFUL. So nice. What a pity your coworkers aren't all oohing and aaahing over it as they ought to be.

Great sweater! You knit a beautiful sweater! How funthat you designed it, knit it and love it sooo much. Screw the grumpy old lady, she proably is so jealous tha she doesn't have a reason to take pictures of herself!
