My favorite things...Monday Morning edition

Inspired by Blair, I'm going to focus my normal February blahs into finding the things I love this week. Just by chance, I happened to catch my very favorite thing right before he woke up this morning.
I love my sleepy, snuggly husband, even if he doesn't like to be photographed.

I love the how soft his morning skin is, I love that at the first sound of the alarm, he rolls over and pulls me into a deeper snuggle, I love his arms around me in the morning, admiring the sunlight on his furry arms, fulfilling the dream I had about this very moment (or moments since it is our daily ritual) a year before we met.
We're not really into Valentine's Day, although I use any excuse to have a day a little more love-y, a little more snuggly, and usually, with a bit better food. This Christmas we decided that for all "couple" holidays (Valentine's Day, anniversaries, etc) we would forgo individual gifts for each other, and instead, buy a piece of art for the house. This year we're finally painting some canvases to hang over our couch. It's a project we've talked about for years and as our first art-buying, we're buying the supplies and making it ourselves! I think we'll get 3 canvases, each paint one on our own and then paint the center one together. So it all goes together we're limiting the pallette to two or three blues and tan...perfect for PS this month.
As I share more things I love, I think I'll also share some V-day traditions from my family, my urban family (college roomies) and my dating relationship.
What are your family's V-day traditions?
