Sweater Conundrum

I purchased, nearly a year ago, enough Cascade 220 in a beautiful blue heather to knit The Perfect Sweater. But who am I kidding? I never follow patterns! I cast on for the sleeves/swatch at the movies late in December, planning to decide on the sweater specifics as I went. Well, both sleeves are done (to the armpit, I'll do the yoke EZ style). And I'm frozen at a crucial impasse: Cardigan or Pullover.
I bought the yarn imagining it in a pullover; at the time I hadn't knit any pullovers I wore, since then I've knit 2. Tennessee weather doesn't require wool pullovers for more than month; a cardigan that can be easily removed is ideal for those iffy days, or when the office is unnaturally warm/cold, while a pullover is a commitment for the day. But I want something to wear to work; a pullover seems more "professional" to me than a cardigan...then again, a pullover in this blue color might be a bit much. Another consideration: wardrobe: a pullover is your top for the day, while with a cardigan, you have to pick out/wear/dirty another shirt (I'm terribly poor in the office-appropriate shirt department).
Ah! I've been going back and forth like this for DAYS and canNOT decide! Not to mention working out the details of stitch details (cables, gansey patterns, lace)!

So what do you think?

I say cardigan because it is more versitile and can cover up that iffy work shirt (can you tell I have experience in this department? Besides, who wants to spend money on work clothes when you can buy YARN! ;)).

I vote for a cardi. You can wear a cardi many ways, and can be easily dressed up or down.

I also vote for a cardi. How many skeins do you have?

ditto on the cardigan. I think you'll get more use out of it. I'd hate for you to spend a lot of time on something and not be able to enjoy it more.

Cardigan. Hands down.
