The alpaca I was dyeing last week?
Turned out beautiful, if a little less rich than I was hoping.
I've spun up 1/4 of it, but can't get any good pictures of it on the wheel, so you'll just have to trust me.
I'm debating whether I should ply it with itself (matching up the repeats as best as possible) or with a solid color silk ply.
Any thoughts?

Oooh, have you ever navajo plied? Try that!
I was going to say navajo plying as well.
Not sure the alpaca will hold up to the navajo plying but that sure would be nice if it did!
