Lemon Syrup Loaf


Argh! Wrote a whole post about this delicious recipe, but blogger ate it. SO,
Here's the details:

  • from How To Be a Domestic Goddess
  • I usually make it in a baby bundt mold and it ends up puffier and lighter (and fancier), something about the loaf pan made it denser
  • I really am blaming the recipe and not myself for its denseness (and lack of rising), as every other recipe I've made from this book has been outragously wrong.
  • However, Hub loves lemony things and I love the dense, sweet lemonyness of this, so I keep making it
  • Oh, and YUM!
PS. I don't really care for Nigella's new show, too much focus on her and not the food (I mean, litterally, the camera stays on her face and doesn't show what her hands are doing.
