Get used to me...

I'll be blogging every day this month, as I joined NaBloPoMo. I have a vague outline of what I'll be writing about most weekdays, but I'll leave that for tomorrow, List Thursday.
For today: my Socktoberfest update.
Remember at the beginning of the month, I had the goal of completing one pair of socks for myself and working on my Mom's Christmas socks. I finished the foot and turned the heel of the gift sock (which was the second), but I barely worked on it at all, as I committed myself to finishing a pair for myself.

On October 1rst, I had the foot of the 1rst Koigu sock done and it looked like this:

but I'm not too happy about the rolling picot edge, I think I needed to knit more rows after the picot-y part, before sewing it down.

Wow. A post everyday. *considers doing the same thing, remembers that she's a student and has neglected her class TOO much this semester...*

Ah I am so envious of your knitting abilities. I once tried knitting something and it was pitiful... just pitiful. But I *love* your socks!!

I don't like rolling edges either - that's why I frogged my Cedar Creek this week.
