To celebrate this revered, holy month of socks, pictures of handknit socks are being posted far and wide. They do not, however, bring me joy. No, they bring me pain, for I only own 1 pair of handknit socks, and alas, they're a bit big and only worn around the house. To be fair, I've knit 10 individual socks:
- My pair
- of Jaywalkers,
- a pair of socks that were felted into slippers (accidentally)
- for my littlest brother
- a pair of socks that were felted into slippers (on purpose)
- for my other little brother
- a pair of socks that were felted into slippers (on purpose)
- for my mother
- 1 UT orange sock
- 1 blue/green sock (which my mother promptly claimed)
- Mom's Christmas sock mate: remains car knitting
- Kneehighs: conquer my fear of running out and knit the rest of the ball and then decide on a plan of attack from there
- Buy some more US0s so I can get back to the Koigu sock.
- If there's time, cast on for second UT orange sock
