Friday at 4pm the Sock War began. I didn't anticipate that people would start the moment the pattern was posted, I didn't even realise it was up until much later that night! I know of 4 knitters that have already finished their socks, but I'm a bit less competitive!
I didn't cast on until yesturday, around 4pm, and have had to, well, live. So it's safe to say, I don't have the warrior spirit! Although, I haven't heard anything from my assassin, so maybe they're a slacker too?
First sock done at 8pm (on Sunday)! Who knew I could knit socks so fast (it helps that it's DK weight on US6s) and still go to church, eat, visit with the Hub?

HI Tara, i got your comment over at the angelica KAL, and I really appreciate it- I would like to spend some time with you figuring out my gauge issue. Maybe once I am settled into my new place?
PS- Socks can be knit on big needles too? Interesting...
