Purple is not my thing.
In fact, sometime last year, I came out against purple.
Everyone needs to make a stand regarding what colors they will and will not tolerate and I was sick of receiving purple gifts.
So I let it be known: I don't do purple.
This, of course, was a rather rash action, as there are plenty of purples I like: lilac bushes, violets (the flowers), pansies. However, there are so many purple things that I don't want. Home decor for example; I have lots of blues, greens, pinks throughout my house, a bright red kitchen, and plenty, plenty of taupe, cream and white. But no purple. I also don't wear purple, most of the purple clothes I find are too frilly, girly, flowery. So no purple.
And yet, when I was looking for a quick and easy thing to knit to hold me over until I can start the next project, I reached for the few purple things I have: yarn.
It will be a warshcloth, from Mason-Dixon Knitting, and it will almost immediately be given away (lest it infect the rest of my house with its purpley-ness)
