Project Spectrum May Part Deux

It could be said that I got a little crazy with the green dyeing last night!

However, Hub has classes on Monday night, and I was using one-shot dyes (they come in little packs and you have to mix them all up right then) and I hate to see things (like alone time and pretty green dyes) go to waste!

Here we have some Soysilk in a very fetching grassy green.

My creation
And here we have the handpainted BFL, all spun up, organic cotton, banana silk and my Dye-O-Rama sock yarn (also my PS Hanpainted Yarn Swap yarn)

And a closeup of my handspun

Still not very even, but I like the thick/thin quality. I learned today that many believe your spinning will improve with 15-20 minutes daily instead of an hour or 2 weekly. Only thing, I like to spin on my porch and the rain hasn't stopped!

I just realised I haven't posted any pics of how theMay Handdyed Swap yarn I received is knitting up-so pretty! Not pooling at all! So fantastic, Andre likes to snuggle with it:
