When I get to feelin' a bit uninspired in my knitting...or just a general feeling of malaise and unenthusiasm (is that a word?) I find others to be an unending spring of knitterly hope and inspiration. And while there are lots of funny, inspiring blogs out there, nothing is as inspiring as seeing a gazillion different manifestations of one pattern.
Thus, the Knit-a-long. Watching many (or just a few) others put their personal mark on something I'm working on, keeps it fresh.
Keeping this in mind, don't consider me a sheep *baa* but I've joined, uh, a few:

I love the book, bought it for my mom for Mother's Day and then decided, perhaps I'd like it more than she. She, however, is getting a few dishcloths and, eventually, a robe.(Don't worry, she's getting a nice Mother's Day gift, just not this book)

More in the Mason Dixon vein, I plan on at least 3 log cabiny knits within the next 6 months (aka, preparation for Christmas gifts)

I'm so happy to hear that Mason-Dixon is a great book. A little birdy told me I'll be getting it for Mother's day. Ok, I went snooping in RM's desk and found it...
