Some proof that I actually deserve that Olympic medal:
The yarn, pre-sweater, in repose:
The pausing point, waiting for the next shipment of yarn:
And the BIG NIGHT, when I finished it:
If the dark lighting and weird angle (hub was in bed) doesn't give it away, the orange pj pants will: it was late, late in the game, indeed AFTER the official game. But don't I look happy?
And a real picture:
(I'm not angry here...just trying not to squint in the sunlight)
Pattern: My own. Raglan Yoked Assymetrical Cardigan with a floppy collar (what the real term for that?)
Yarn:
Body: Thick n Thin in Blue Stone
Trim: 6-ply Bulky in Blue Stone
Both from Handpaintedyarn.com
Needles: Denise US 10.5
CO: Feb 10th
BO: Feb 26th
So I wasn't planning on working up different sizes of this pattern until I wore it to work today and a customer asked me for one! She went on about how flattering a shape it is and said she'd call back tomorrow for an estimate on a custom pattern (based on her chest size). I have to check with the owner of the shop to see if she'll mind me selling it to her customers, but I'd definately like to offer it here, if there's interest. Is there?

we finally get to see it after all this teasing!! looks great, no wonder a customer wants it. I hope you get to do it.
What an amazing sweater! That's gorgeous. I have to admit, I always like seeing photos of sweater + pajamas because I don't feel like a weirdo for doing that myself. :)
