I am currently sitting here:
My new computer! AAHH-I'm so excited and so relieved to finally be able to do all my normal stuff at home!
I have so much to catch up on: work, blogging, research, website building. For now, I'll show you that entrelac thing I mentioned

What's pictured is 2 skeins of 203 Silk Garden and 1 skein of the green Karaoke. I did that in 10 days and then...nothing. I went 4 days with only knitting a stitch a two. What happened? Well, I've dyed over 1000 yds of yarn , spent over 5 hours untangling, skeining, and winding it all in just the last 5 days. Oh yeah, and I worked 2 jobs, shopped for a computer, prepared for a vacay and learned my husband lost his job. The week before he was about to use his paid vacation. The day he took his GRE (a grad school entrance test that basically determines, oh, the rest of his career).
Yeah. It's been a weird week.
As possibly bad (or overwhelming) this last week could have been...the only thing that suffered was my knitting. Hub and I learned we work very well as a team, we had some fun and we were just on top of things.
Oh, and when the yarn looks this good, you can't be upset (if you have your priorities strait):

that's great about the computer. sorry about DHs job. the yarn oh the yarn is so lovely! it looks like a creamscile! almost yummy enough to eat!
Sorry about the rough week... but the entrelac thing looks amazing as does your dyed yarn!
