Still a knittin'

I desparately miss my computer. I miss it with every breath. I do seem to get more done without it around (no blogs to distract me!) but I miss checking my email compulsively and miss blogging. Instead of using this time to knit, I've been taking more pictures. I'll share some of my favorites if you promise to stick around for the knitting content.




You can see how I'm only interested in Andre when he poses near my knitting. Yes, that's right, my nearly finished Gray Desperation Winter Blues Noro Cardigan! It's in my lap right now, only a few more rows of the collar left to go. Yes, I'm sitting in a community college computer lab with an entire sweater sitting in my lap, knitting a few stitches between clicks. I'm here with my husband (he's taking a website design class) and he positioned us with out backs to the rest of the computers, either as a sweet gesture (so I don't get distracted by the stares) or to avoid humiliation. Either way, I'm just glad to be clickin' and knittin'.
PS. After hearing this report on Marketplace, I'm interested in Fair Trade chocolate. Here's some great info and who sells it. Carissa sent me some of this from London, and it's fantastic!
