How do we feel about this button band for the Noro Cardigan I'm working on? 
I was planning on knitting on the button band and collar after I finish it, although this one looks like it was worked with the body. I would do, maybe 4x2 ribbing for the button bands and the shawl collar (my cardigan has a scoop neck). The difference between this and other button bands I've considered is how deep it is, at least 3-4 inches I think. The bottom edge will be in the same ribbing as the button band and since my cardi is top-down, I'll work it before I bind off. (and to be clear, I realise this sweater doesn't have k4 P2 ribbing, but rather a few rows of St st and then Rev St st....it just inspired a train of thought on ribbing.)
I also like the sleeve edges, I wonder if I could get ribbing to bell like that?
I welcome all suggestions!
Oh yeah, the sweater is one of Kim Hargreaves.
