Twister and Knitting

Ok, so I'm knee deep in holiday knitting, rewriting my "holiday knitting timeline" every day. But more of that (with pictures) tomorrow.
For today, we have good news!

yes, that's me and the Hub playing Twister after Thanksgiving dinner...but that's not the good news...
what we need to celebrate, fellow knitter...is that my mom asked me to teach her to knit!
She picked it up quickly and the next day she stopped by Joann and got some Angel Hair.
She got this far in one evening:

That knitting was snapped on top of the platter she painted at my studio-I love my crafty Mom!
And on Wednesday, we helped her decorate her Christmas tree and she did some more of this (in the sweater I knit her!)

Of course we were knitting together..
