Whew!

There's a lot to catch up on..
I'll start with what you care most about: Knitting!

I love her so much, I can't wait to make one for myself!
And now, my week in review:
Tuesday: Brothers wanted to try some KoolAid dying,so they each got a bottle of their favorite color (red and blue) and went to town. Unfortunately, the colors weren't dark enough, so we ended up with a very terrible pink and purple. I'll probably try to overdye it with darker reds and blues and then they'll each get a hat or mittens out of it. By the way, they both deemed it 'ugly'....

Friday: My bestest friend Jamie came over to see the new apt. Remember how I taught her to knit 2 weeks ago? Well look what she made! It's beautiful!

Noro Lotus, which is self-striping but not TOO stripey. Yay for new converts!

Saturday: movng day! It was so beautiful...here's the road to my new apt:

And at 3pm, this is what the place looked like:





And 6 hours later: Furniture!

A clean kitchen!

A real bedroom!

You might notice the dryer in the foreground...which is still in the same spot. Why? Well, because the dryer is exactly 1 1/2" wider than the door to the laundry room! Know anyone who needs an electrical dryer?
We'll probably list it in the Trading Post or something...it doesn't make sense to post it on EBay, because we want to sell it to somebody near enough to pick it up. Any suggestions? If you're in the Dayton/Cincy area, spread the word!
