Free Yarn!

First, the good news:
Josephine looks like this!
coupla rows into my second repeat...It looks a little scrunched because it's on 16" circs and is 20" wide.

Bad news:
when I told Hub "I'm gonna pack up the yarn now" This is what happened to the previously clean living room... The small box is yarn that has a purpose, the big box...well, that 's where my yarn lust comes in...

and this

Which is actually Good News for you! I have lots of yarn I don't want to take with me. Mostly because it doesn't fit in my allotted yarn space, a little because I know I'll never use it again. Here is what I suggest:
YOU take it. FOR FREE.
Just pay for shipping ($4 for Priority Mail to anywhere in the US, if you're somewhere else-no worries, got to USPS.com and figure out the shipping using my zip-45429) via Pay Pal (I'll send you a receipt via email) and I will GIVE it to you!
First come, first serve. I'll try to cross stuff of as soon as someone claims it, but I can't promise I'll be near my computer every second-so be nice!
If you'd like to swap, well, that'd be great if it's something I want...if you just want the yarn and have nothing to swap, by all means-enjoy! Consider it a RAOK that you can choose.
So here are your choices:
Blue Cotton Ease: 3 full skeins and 3/4 of a skein. This is the yarn I used for my cardigan...I just needed 2 1/4 skeins...if you like I'll send you the pattern to go with the yarn (it's very rough but I'd help you with the math to make it your size)

Phildar Pronostic 229: 3 full skeins. This sock yarn, 80% acrylic/20% wool, 50 grams/skein. There's nothing wrong with it, I just don't like the color. I started a sock, but decided against it, so the 3rd skein has been partially knitted and then frogged and rewound (not very prettily) 2 skeins is enough for a pair of socks.

This is the best stuff I'm giving away, I'm just sick of it (I started with over 1000yds). 2 skeins of 100% wool I recycled from a sweater. 50ish yards and 80 yards. It takes dye well and felts well (I made the Button Hole Bag out of it and was very happy)

Ram Mohair: 2 1/4 skeins variagated (teal, white and blue) and 1 1/4 solid teal. 80% mohair/20% acrylic. I made my first sweater out this...It's very soft and not too itchy...I'm just over mohair...

This is the same yarn as above, only I dyed it. The mohair 'halo' is dark blue but the core (acrylic) is teal. I really love how this turned out, I just don't know that I'll ever use it. Well that, and I'm sick of mohair.

I don't know how I have this book. It's Crewel Basics...I can scan some pages if you're interested (or I'd prefer if you'd just take it!)

McCall's Knitting for Beginners. I have no idea why Barbie is on the cover...it has real patterns and great Learn-to-Knit pictures.

Please take something! Or everything! My new (smaller) apartment thanks you (as do I).

I would love to have some of your yarn. Just let me know if there is still any there and I would love to have it. I am new to knitting and would be blessed.

I was going to go for the Cotton Ease too but I'm too slow. ;) The mohair looks so nice and cuddly but it's too hairy of a fibre for me. Good luck with moving!! I hope it goes easily for you.

I would like the cream colored recycled wool if you have no takers. I really don't have anything to trade tho~~

Did you have trouble with the Josephine sweater pattern. My friend and I are making it and so far the charts seem totally wrong. I was wondering what you thought.
