ok, so my darling hub wasn't sure what to get...so he decided to let me choose! He took to me several *secret* places and told me I could get one thing at each place--how fabulous is that!
This is the total of my giftings!
Here's the first place we went...Knittique at the 2nd Street Market (which is a big farmer's market/antique mall)
At Knittique...some new recycled silk sari yarn that is more reasonable price than others I've found
The second yarn store --Yarn and Needle in Franklin, it's my favorite...such friendly service and beautiful yarn! Here I'm debating over what color Di Ve' Fiamma to get...It's all so beautiful (and ridiculously expensive $7.5 for 55 yds--yeesh!) so of couse, since it's my birthday--I got some (and some Optik)!
My hub, pretty bored after an hour of my fondling yarn...
Him again, happier that we're at lunch (that's a mural behind him, of historic franklin, which continues onto the wall outside)
After lunch we went to Best Buy, where I got Roman Holiday and Wayne's World (party on, excellent!) and then Barnes and Noble and Borders (journal, At Knit's End, and Crafting for Dollars!) Clearly, I'm the most spoiled of wives!
And today we had dinner my family (at a mexican resturant, obviously)
and I can't pass up embarrasing my mom with this pic!
More birthday happiness!
