Spring and Boobholder!

It's Spring--Hurrah!

I finished the boobholder for Hawaiilove last night and wove in the the ends this morning. Here it is, right before I sent it her way! This felt like it was taking a long time to knit...but I just got the yarn last Monday and finished it last night and wove in the ends this morning. I wasn't even particularly obsessive about it..I just knit while watching TV and sometimes while in the car (while my husband was driving, of course!), so I say it's a pretty good little project. I used Cotton Ease which, with my cheapo metal needle split like hell for me. ick, it drove me crazy and felt like i was always messing up. If I did it again I might do different increases for the raglan sleeves, as I felt these look a bit messy. oh! and sewing up the sleeves! Because the sleeves are knit after you've knit the body to be rounded, making them knit flat on my needles stretched out the underarm and I had to do some tricky seaming to close the hole that formed from the stretched out stithes. I don't think it got too bulky there, but it might if I had used thicker yarn (this stuff was actually much thinner than called for and I had to add more stitches to make up for the smaller gauge.
So now that this is done, I start on the Mother's Day Throws! To the Batcave!

Your boobholder looks great! I hope hawaiilove sends you a pic of her modeling it. I'd love to see how it looks on.
